Rawlings-Moore Case

RESPITES FOR RAWLINGS

Date of Execution is set for the 3rd Day 

Atlanta, Ga, July 14, 1906

The execution of J.G. Rawlings and Alf Moore has been postponed until August 3, The cases of the Rawlings boys are set for a hearing in the Supreme Court on the 16th instant.

The purpose of respiting old man Rawlings and Alf Moore was to have their evidence available if a New trial was granted Milton and Jesse Rawlings. Alf Moore was respited upon the request of the solicitor general of that circuit and the same action was taken with reference to J.G. Rawlings on the request of Col. John R. Cooper of Macon, attorney for J.G. Rawlings and his sons.
