The Rawling’s Case Will Be Heard on July 16th, Next.
Atlanta, June 26—The Rawlings case reached the supreme court this morning and the hearing was set for July 16th. As the date of execution has been fixed for July 13th, a further stay of the sentence will result.
The case contains 250 pages covering the whole ground of matter. The bill of exceptions is based on the contention of newly discovered evidence and the plea that Milton Rawlings is insane.
