Rawlings-Moore Case

Rawlings Case in U.S.S. Court.
Washington, Oct. 10

The case of J.G. Rawlings, of Georgia, the white preacher convicted of murder, was again brought to the attention of the supreme court of the United States in a motion to advance, which the court took under advisement.
Rawlings has twice been convicted in Lowndes County for murder and each time has applied to this court.

He bases his present appeal on the ground that he was discriminated against by the execution of preachers from the jury. The charge against him is that of employing negroes to kill the family of a neighbor, which contract was partly carried into effect.
