Rawlings-Moore Case

Solicitor Faces Rawlings

For the second time since the trial of the Rawlings last summer, Solicitor General Will Thomas has had to face the prisoners in the county jail, both times to serve papers upon them.

(This afternoon, Solicitor Thomas went to the jail and served notice upon J.G. Rawlings that a motion to advance his case had been made with the U.S. Supreme Court. The object of the motion is to have it taken up immediately after the court meets on the second Monday in October. When the case went to the U.S. Supreme Court sometime ago, the Solicitor General went to the jail and served similar notice upon all of the men.)
