Rawlings-Moore Case

Delegates Visited Rawlings

Nine or ten of the delegates to the Cotton Growers Convention Thursday went up to the county jail to see J.G. Rawlings and his boys. They were accompanied by the sheriff. They spent about an hour in the jail and found the prisoners quite talkative. The elder Rawlings was in a good humor and when he is in that condition, nothing suits him better than to engage in conversation with those who visit him.
